Out of the Sandbox has a long-established presence in Shopify theme design, particularly for lifestyle and image-driven retail. Its themes explore different ways of using photography, from conventional product-focused galleries to large visual sections and parallax effects. Responsive, Retina, and Parallax represent those directions. Merchant feedback is extensive, although recent release activity has been comparatively limited.

First rate customer service. Had a small issue on design and it was taken care of very quickly. Highly recommended.

We've used Parallax for years at L&M Bling and love its flexibility and customization options. What truly sets Out of the Sandbox apart is their support! After months of troubleshooting a mysterious search issue, Shandy investigated, identified the exact cause, and provided the solution. Her expertise, patience, and attention to detail were outstanding. Excellent theme and exceptional support! …

Awesome theme for us! Had to contact support once (the issue was actually a third party plugin) and they got back to me asap in a very positive and helpful way! The theme does everything I want it to do and more. Great for our yarn store!

The Responsive theme has been a great fit for me over the years. Recently, I figured out I needed to update my theme, so I tried some of the new ones in the Shopify store. Nothing as good. I wrote to the Responsive Support- I had forgotten how great they are and that I had lifetime theme updates! SO HAPPY! Having fun resetting up my store with it.

We have been using this theme for years. It is so far the best theme we found to present our products. The customer service is prompt when needed.
