This release adds the Shopify account component to the header, meeting the Shopify Theme Store requirement effective July 30, 2026. Customers on stores with customer accounts get passwordless sign-in, Shop recognition, and an account menu directly from the header.

Added

• Shopify account component in the header, shown on desktop and mobile for stores using customer accounts. Includes a new "Account menu" setting in the header section to choose the menu shown to signed-in customers (defaults to the customer account main menu).

Changed

• Stores using legacy customer accounts keep the previous account icon, controlled by the existing "Show account icon" setting. On stores using customer accounts, the account component is always shown.

We've added optional slideshow autoplay controls to the hero, product media gallery, featured product, product stories, and social gallery sections. This release also includes a refactor of hero section responsive styles for clearer mobile/desktop control.

  If you have custom CSS targeting any of these class names, update your selectors after installing this update.

• Refactored hero section responsive styles to separate mobile and desktop height controls more clearly.

We’ve made updates that add an image picker to collapsible content and ensure compatibility with the new Liquid rigid parser.

• Added optional image support to accordion blocks in the Accordion section and the main product Collapsible row.

• Improved spacing and readability of rich text (RTE) content within accordion panels.

Fixes and other improvements

• Updated Liquid syntax to comply with Liquid’s new rigid parser mode, including correcting filter usage in render tags.

We’ve made updates that improve cart logic, error handling, and product info layout.

• Simplified price logic. Some class names associated with prices have been updated or removed.
• Updated cart drawer and cart page layouts to improve spacing and usability. Some class names associated with the cart have been updated or removed.

Fixes and other improvements

• Fixed an issue where trapFocus was not working in certain edge cases, which affected the product popup.
• Fixed missing preview images for 3D models in product cards.
• Fixed a layout bug that caused the quantity selector value to be hidden on mobile in the cart drawer.
