Flexible bundle discounts

Product bundles and product sets now include a new Discount type setting. The existing automatic discount stays the default and is unchanged. You can now choose to apply a discount code instead, which is added to the cart automatically as soon as a bundle or set is added — so bundle pricing no longer depends on setting up an automatic discount. Any code a shopper has already applied is kept, and the cart updates right away.

Faster image loading

Product and logo images now load more efficiently — each device only downloads the image size it needs, improving page speed. Sections that use a separate mobile image now load a single image instead of two, and your logo is served at the size it's actually displayed, with sharp versions for high-resolution screens. SVG logos are unaffected.

Small reliability update on top of 4.1.0: smoother cart drawer, color swatch labels and 3D/AR viewer on products with imageless variants, plus tidier variant images in quick buy and product comparison.

This update adds support for two new Shopify features, plus a search improvement and a bug fix.

New Shopify features

• Product disclosures
  Added support for Shopify's product disclosures, so required safety and regulatory notices — such as California Proposition 65 warnings or choking-hazard notices — appear in a dedicated section on the product page instead of being buried in the description.
• Standard events
  Added support for Shopify's standard customer events, giving you more accurate analytics and tracking across the shopping journey, from product views to add-to-cart and checkout.

Other improvements & fixes

• New hover methods for product cards
  Added the ability to display the secondary featured image on hover or an autoplaying video for product cards.
• Search by SKU, barcode, and tags
  Predictive search now matches products by SKU, barcode, and tags, helping customers find what they need faster.
• Slideshow fix
  Fixed a bug affecting slideshows with the auto height option enabled.

We’ve added new sections, more flexible merchandising tools, improved navigation options, and several enhancements across product pages, search, accessibility, and theme settings.

New sections

• Shoppable videos
  Added a new UGC-style shopping section that lets merchants feature videos alongside products.
• Specification table
  Added a flexible specification table section, useful for product features, ingredients, comparisons, technical details, and other structured content.
• Flexible columns
  Added a new multicolumn section built with theme blocks, making it easier to create flexible content layouts.

Product comparison

• Compare products
  Added comparison functionality to the product grid, letting customers select multiple products and view them side by side to make quicker, more confident purchase decisions.
• Static comparison section
  Added a static product comparison section for showcasing a fixed set of products in a side-by-side layout, ideal for highlighting curated comparisons anywhere on your store.

Section and product enhancements

• Discount code block
  Added a block to easily share discount codes on product pages and in quick view. Customers can copy the code with a single click, and you can add an optional caption and link.
• FAQ structured data
  Added an option that outputs FAQPage structured data on the content toggles section, so questions and answers can appear as rich results in search engines.
• FAQ image
  Added the ability to display an image next to your questions, with an optional maximum width for images placed inside an answer. When the contact form is also enabled, the section automatically switches to a three-column layout.
• Policy popup
  Added an option to open tax and shipping policies from product pages in a modal window, with the choice to open in the same tab or a new one instead.
• Gift cards
  Added support for scheduled gift card delivery.
• Variant swatches
  Added metaobject-based swatch support for product variant options, allowing color and image swatches to be sourced from metaobject entries. Available on the product page, featured product, and quick view.

Navigation and header improvements

• Transparent header on more page types
  Added the ability to enable the transparent header on regular pages, product pages, and article pages, in addition to homepage and collection pages. A master toggle turns the whole feature on or off without losing your per-page choices.
• Menu layout
  Added an option to change the number of columns in menu layouts.
• Currency and language selectors
  Improved currency and language selectors with additional design options.
• Announcement bar
  Added autoplay support for announcement bar content.
• Custom social icon
  Added support for a second custom social icon.

Additional improvements

• Improved performance across several areas of the theme, including deferred scripts, more accurate responsive image sizing, and lazy-loaded background videos.
• Added the ability to choose a different video for mobile devices across various sections, so you can serve shorter or better-framed content to mobile shoppers.
• Fixed multiple visual and layout issues, including product variant image display, sticky-header account icon alignment, and the mobile FAQ answer button.
• Featured product variants can now be correctly selected and added to the cart.
• Scoped the select dropdown styling to a dedicated class so it applies consistently only where intended.
• Restored smooth scrolling to the selected gallery item on product pages, and fixed sliders not reinitializing after a section is edited in the theme editor.
• Exact-handle matching for the "Enable on custom pages" and "Pages with default header" fields, with multi-line input support.

Improvements

• Hotfix
  Resolved an issue with quick buy variant selection not updating correctly in product grids
• Sale badge logic updated
  Products with varying prices across variants now show a generic "Sale" badge instead of calculating per-variant discounts on collection pages. PDP badges continue to show the exact discount for the selected variant. This improves rendering performance by avoiding per-variant price comparisons on product grids.
