Empire 14.0.0 adds the new Vast preset, full support for high-variant products, a rebuilt variant picker, and improved price/on-sale logic.

The "High-variant product" template has been removed because all product templates now support products with many variants. If any products are assigned to the "High-variant product" template, reassign them to the default product template after updating.

The "Sold out options" theme setting has also been removed so that options are always selectable instead of disabled or hidden. Making all options selectable provides more product visibility for customers who may wish to purchase sold out variants when they are back in stock.

Empire 13.0.0 is a major release that removes tag collection filtering in favor of faceted filters, adds support for metafield swatches, and introduces new page templates (About, Locations, Services, and an updated FAQ). The Rich Text and Image with Text sections have been refactored with blocks, and the theme gains new features including currency code display, a Threads social icon, and a preview mode for the age gate theme setting.
