Bullet Shopify theme

This release adds color swatches on product cards, gift wrapping in the cart, and a new Custom section for building your own layouts, alongside new sections, faster page speeds, and further refinements and fixes.

• 🔥 Product cards: Added color swatches, so shoppers can see and pick a product's colors right from the collection page without a third-party app.
• 🔥 Added a new "Custom section", so you can build your own layouts right in the theme editor.
• 🔥 Cart: Added gift wrapping, so shoppers can add your wrapping service and a gift message straight from the cart.
• ✨ Product page: Added variant photo sets, so the gallery shows only the photos that match the selected variant.

• Product page: Added a new "Countdown timer" block, so you can show a deadline for a sale or a drop right next to the product.
• Product page: Added a setting to the "Price" block to show or hide the automatic tax, duty, and shipping notice below the price.
• Countdown timer: Added a new "Show message when countdown ends" setting, so you can keep an expired countdown at zero instead of replacing it with a message.
• Product cards: Added color-matched images, so when shoppers filter by a single color, matching cards show that color's photo.
• Search: Added recently viewed products to the search panel, shown before shoppers start typing. When suggested products are also on, the two appear as tabs instead of stacking.
• Header: Added a new "Show on scroll up" setting, so the header hides as shoppers scroll down and returns when they scroll up.
• Password page: Added a new "Position" setting, so you can choose where the password form sits on the page.
• Blog: Added a new "Blog tags" setting, so shoppers can filter blog posts by tag.
• Added a "Load more button" pagination style to collection, search, blog, and collections list pages, so shoppers can load the next page with a click.
• Social media: Added a Threads link, so you can point shoppers to your Threads profile alongside your other social accounts.

Fixed

• ⚡️ Product page: Fixed an issue where the page content jumped down while loading when "Enable pickup availability" was on.
• Product page: Fixed product videos so they play when a shopper selects their thumbnail (even with autoplay off), pause when moving to another slide, and show play and pause controls when "Show controls" is on.
• Cart: Fixed discount codes so applying or removing them works reliably on the cart page and in the cart drawer, and shoppers now see a message when a code can't be used.
• Footer: Fixed the "Multi-column menu" setting on legal links and on short menus, so links now split into columns when it's on.
• Age verification: Fixed shoppers being able to dismiss the age verification pop-up with the Escape key before interacting with the page.
• Pop-ups: Fixed the page staying unscrollable after closing a pop-up with the back gesture on Android.
• Theme editor: Fixed an issue where deleting a section caused other sections of the same type to lose their formatting.
• Theme editor: Fixed an issue where the editor became slower after repeated section changes.
• Fixed an issue where product and article share links came out doubled or broken when shared from a phone or a social app.

Changed

• ⚡️ Pages now appear faster, as images at the top of the page, including the main product photo, load first and fonts are no longer downloaded twice.
• Age verification: The dialog can now be built from image and text blocks, and checks birth dates more accurately.
• Theme editor: The "Add section" menu is now organized into clearer categories, so sections are easier to find.
• The price filter on collection and search pages now loads faster and uses a simpler slider with two handles.
• "Load on scroll" pagination on collection, search, blog, and collections list pages now works more reliably and stops cleanly on the last page.
• Horizontal content rows now respond more smoothly to mouse dragging and navigation controls.

This update focuses on polish and bug fixes across product cards, cart behavior, and search, and adds new header support for Shopify customer accounts, with additional cleanup for featured product handling and the password page.

• Improved product card alignment in "overneath" and "underneath" layouts when Quick buy is enabled, preventing uneven "ladder" layouts when content wraps.
• Restored the Terms and Conditions checkbox on the cart page so it appears outside the cart drawer as well.
• Fixed a mobile overflow issue in the search drawer.
• Limited featured product metafield styling to collection and search grids so featured cards no longer affect other contexts.
• Fixed featured products so they no longer remain featured when the metafield is set to false.

This major release significantly expands Bullet with 6 new languages (now 20 total), 8 new sections, full Color scheme support, and a wide range of new customization options and performance improvements. While not backwards compatible, these foundational changes make Bullet faster, more flexible, and far easier to customize going forward.

• Important: This is a major version that introduces or modifies features and files that are NOT backwards compatible with previous versions of Bullet. Please be aware that if you upgrade from previous versions you may need to set up your theme again from scratch (your previous settings won't carry over automatically). We know that's extra work, but these changes were long overdue and required to make Bullet significantly faster and easier to customize going forward.
