2.5.1 release note

Wonder 2.5.1 is a refinement release that builds on 2.5.0 — smoother storefront interactions, better performance, stronger SEO, and broader compatibility across the theme.

Highlights

• A more polished product page: the add-to-cart button responds instantly to variant selection, and the gallery and header settle cleanly on load.
• Lighter and more stable on content-heavy pages, with sliders and background videos that release resources when no longer needed.
• Stronger SEO for your blog, with modern structured data.

Improved

• Add to cart — the buy button now reflects your variant choice immediately, without needing a page refresh, including when "preselect first variant" is turned off.
• Product page loading (fashion layout) — the media gallery and transparent header settle smoothly on first load, without a visible shift or flash.
• Quick Buy reach — Quick Buy is now available on Pro product cards in Product Recommendations, and on Quiz result cards.
• Video controls — play/pause and mute controls display and behave correctly in the Video section.
• Featured Collection — a smoother reveal animation for the stacked / grid view.
• Multicolumn on mobile — two-column layouts align correctly on smaller screens.
• Quiz — the results slider behaves consistently across screen sizes.

Performance

• Sliders & videos now fully release their resources when a section is removed or re-rendered (for example while editing in the theme customizer) and pause off-screen videos — keeping content-heavy pages responsive.

SEO & structured data

• Blog articles now provide complete, standards-based BlogPosting structured data (JSON-LD), helping search engines better understand and surface your posts.

2.5.0 release note

Wonder Theme 2.5.0 is one of our biggest updates yet. This release introduces powerful new sections, major improvements to product cards, new merchandising features, AI-ready enhancements, and dozens of UX, performance, and quality-of-life improvements throughout the theme.

2.4.1 release note

This release introduces Shopify’s new Color Palette feature, allowing you to define your brand colors once and reuse them consistently across your entire theme.

Highlights

• Color Palette — set a reusable set of named brand colors in Theme settings → Colors → Palette, then pick them from any color setting; change a palette color once and every place that uses it updates.

Added

• Color Palette — up to 20 named colors (e.g. primary, secondary, accent, background, button, border, sale, rating). Each preset (Nook, Petit, Root, Velour, Wonder) ships with a curated starter palette.

2.4.0 release note
